Tomorrow is February 1st, 2010, the month we have talked about for 4 years is finally going to be here. There is relief in that, and some times it is easier to talk about and have it always be some time out in the future.

Jeff had left that morning for Whistler and it was a really emotional day. Seeing Jeff off at the airport and realizing there was nothing more we could do except stay the course. He was only home for a very short 4.5 days and was not going to be home for another 4.5 weeks. This was it. We didn’t want to let him go.
I felt sad to do this interview alone. We had already done four interviews that week and together felt so good, the way it was supposed to be. This was in the evening so the boys were laying on chairs at the side of the studio in their pajamas, ready to go home to bed.

A rare occurrence to have Jeff home and participating in this one. We are both really tired after getting up so early for Canada AM that same morning.
